  • Carolling 2016 starts here! On Saturday 19th November, Abbey Brass kicked off the 2016 Christmas carolling season with teams playing in Reading town centre and Blenheim Palace. In Reading, we were part of a day’s entertainment to celebrate turning on the Christmas lights. At Blenheim, we entertained visitors to the Living Crafts for Christmas fair.

  • Long Wittenham, Queen’s Birthday Tea Party On Saturday 11th June, Abbey Brass training band joined the festivities in the garden of the Plough Inn at Long Wittenham where the children of the village celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday with music, games and cake.
  • Fun in the Park 2016 On Saturday 4th June we took part in the the annual Abingdon Fun in the Park event. At our Abbey Brass stand in the community groups area, children and adults had the opportunity to come and try out a brass instrument and learn more about the band.
  • Appleford Village Fete Sunshine and hailstones! On Saturday 30th April the training band played Appleford Village Fete. We had lovely sunshine and delicious wafts of burgers, pakora and samosas.
