This Saturday, 31st March, Abbey Brass is putting on a concert at St Helen & St Katherine School in Abingdon as part of the Abingdon Arts Festival 2012.

This will be an evening of music that will entertain everyone, with pieces from the musicals, from the big screen and from the music charts of the last 40 years. A great evening of entertainment for all ages. See below the poster for the full concert programme!

Tickets are available on the door – £7 adult, £5 concessions.

Sell your old mobile phone to raise money for Abbey Brass (and for you!)

Do you have any spare, old or unused mobile phones sitting gathering dust in a drawer at home? Or are you about to upgrade?

If so, you could trade them in in return for cash or shopping vouchers. Not only that, if you use the band’s website to do this then we will receive £5 commission for every phone that is successfully recycled!

To get started, just use this link to go to Vodafone’s BuyBack service. You’ll be asked to identify your phone(s) – you can choose by clicking photographs so no need to know the exact model – and you’ll be given a quote for cash, or shopping vouchers. You just need to then complete the form with your details, and they will post you a bag to use to post your phone to them (or you can simply post it yourself).

Once the phone is received, your payment processed and you’ll get your cash or vouchers, and Abbey Brass will receive £5 for each phone that you recycle!
